Fannie Jane married Harry Roberts 23 May 1904 in Winfield, Cowley County, Kansas. They were married because Harry was charged with the statutory rape of Miss Pruitt.

Fannie is shown at age 17 as Fanny Roberts in the 1905 Kansas Territory Census living with her mother and brother Roy in Grant Township, Cowley County, Kansas. Her son, Donald Thomas Roberts, is listed after her. (Image shown in the section for her mother, Lydia Ellen Huff.) It shows that he is 7 months old, however, his World War II Draft Registration shows a birth date of 28 May 1905 in Dexter, Cowley County, Kansas. I suspect that "Harry" was actually McDonald Roberts, born abt. 1876 in Tennessee, who later married Edna Watterson, born abt. 1882 in Texas, 24 Dec 1905 in Cleveland County, Oklahoma.

Fannie’s daughter, Helen C. Gillard, was born 29 Jul 1909 in Muskogee, Muskogee County, Oklahoma. She married Oliver Earl York, born 21 Nov 1906 in Illinois, 11 Aug 1944 in Cook County, Illinois. Helen died 6 Dec 1996. Her burial place is unknown. Oliver is buried in Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Crawford County, Illinois.

The marriage failed and Fannie went on to marry Lillard Lee Johnson, born 18 Dec 1888 in Tennessee, the son of James Robert and Sarah Ann "Sallie" (Patton) Johnson. That marriage also ended. Lillard died 17 Dec 1955 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, and at the time was married to Florence E. (last name unknown)

Bertha is buried in Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeview, Montcalm County, Michigan. Their daughter is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Gary.
Theodore eventually married Victoriana Gonzalez. He died 3 Nov 1958 in El Paso, El Paso County, Texas. Victoriana died a few years later 27 Aug 1963. They are both buried in Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, Texas.
