Frank Henry Luttmann was born 15 Mar 1859 in Rising Sun, Ohio County, Indiana. He was the son of Johan Heinrich Luttmann and Mary Apmann.
In the 1860 Census, he is living in Lawrenceburg, Dearborn County, Indiana, at age 1, with his parents and older sister. His grandfather, Herman Apmann, lives with them, as do two apprentices to his father. Searches to locate Frank Henry and his family during the 1870 Census have proven fruitless. The 1880 Census shows Frank at age 20 living with his family. They live in Covington at 332 Philadelphia Street. He works as a Tanner Apprentice for his father, who is a Shoemaker. Frank married Regina "Rachel" Morand, daughter of Joseph and Regina "Rachael" Halter Morand, in 1887. He and Rachel had seven children, all of whom were born in Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky. -Frank Henry Luttman, Jr., was born 22 Jun 1888 and died 17 Sep 1947 of a Coronary Thrombosis in Erlanger, Kenton County, Kentucky. He is buried in Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright, Kenton County, Kentucky, Sec. 6, Lot 1783.

-Geneva Rose Luttmann was born 3 Oct 1890. She was the second wife of William Bernard Kroner (26 Jul 1889 - 9 May 1963) who was first married to Cecilia Margaret Homan, daughter of Albert Homan and Anna Schwietert. She had no children, but was stepmother to six of William's seven children from his first marriage (one had died at the age of four in 1920). Geneva died 4 Nov 1952 of Cancer.
-Regina Mary Luttmann was born 30 Sep 1893. She married Henry Marvin Keeney, born 18 Jan 1896, and had three children with him. Henry Marvin died 12 Apr 1963; Regina died 17 Mar 1979 at the age of 85 of Old Age. Both she and Henry Marvin are buried in Sec. B, Row 13, of Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger, Kenton County, Kentucky. -Josephine Mary Luttmann is profiled on her own page. -Mathilda Margaret Luttmann was born 27 Jun 1899 and died 9 Apr 1917 at the age of 17 due to Inflammation of Stomach and Bowels (Appendicitis). She is buried in Sec. 6, Lot 1206, in Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, Kenton County, Kentucky.

The 1900 Census shows Frank, Sr., at age 40 living with his wife, Rachel, and their children at 835 Main Street in Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky. His occupation is listed as Tanner. While his father passed away in 1888, his mother and sister are enumerated as the next family living in the same building.
-Clara Francis Luttmann was born 10 Dec 1902. She married Joseph H. Homan 6 Aug 1924 in Mother of God Church in Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky. Joseph, born 12 Dec 1898, was the son of Heinrich "Henry" Homan and Rosa M. Schreiner. Clara and Joseph had five children together. Joseph died 11 Mar 1958 of Pneumonia and Clara died 12 Jan 1976. They are buried in Saint Marys Cemetery in Morning View, Kenton County, Kentucky. -John Walter Luttmann was born 28 Jan 1906. He married Eleanor Requardt, daughter of Henry Requardt and Katherine. They had at least one child together. John Walter died 22 Feb 1968 of a Heart Attack and Eleanor died 19 Jul 1977 of Cancer. They are buried in Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, Kenton County, Kentucky.

The 1910 Census shows Frank, Sr., at age 51 living at 1424 Banklick Street in Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky. He continues to work as a Tanner, while his son, Frank, Jr., works as an Embosser for a Printing Office, and daughters, Geneva and Regina, work as Candy Makers.
The 1920 Census shows the family living at 1514 Woodburn Avenue in Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky. Frank is 57 and no longer working. Frank, Jr., is a Printer, Geneva and Regina still work at the Candy Factory, and Clara works as an Assistant to a Doctor in a Chemical Company. Frank Henry died 5 Oct 1921 of Heart and Kidney Disease and is buried in Sec. 6, Lot 312, of Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright, Kenton County, Kentucky.
