She is first enumerated in the Michigan State Census in 1894 as living in Dickinson County along with her parents, Lars John and Alma, and older sister, [Alma] Victoria. At the time of the Census, she is 10 months old, although her sister's age is marked down incorrectly as 46 years, when she was actually 4 years.
