The 1900 Census shows Robert at age 4 living with his family at 46 Fry Street in Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky. The 1910 Census shows him at age 14 living with his family at 324 West Twelfth Street in Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky. He works as a Clerk in a Grocery Store. In 1917, Robert completed his Registration Card for World War I. He is described as medium height with a medium build, red hair and blue eyes. On 4 Jun 1919, Robert married Josephine Mary Luttmann at the Mother of God Church in Covington.
Robert and Josephine became parents to 8 children: -Vivian Luella Roth (1920-2013) -Robert Frank "Bob" Roth (1922-2001) -Clifford Joseph Roth (1924-1945 WWII) -Milton Joseph Roth (1927-2013) -Dorothy Regina "Dotty" Roth Wolfe -Joseph Paul Roth -Rosemary Louise "Rose" Roth Frietch -Carole Jean Roth Frietch The 1920 Census shows Robert at age 23 living with his bride, Josephine, and her family at 1514 Woodburn Avenue, Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky. He states he works as a Printer. The 1930 Census shows him at age 33 living with Josephine and their kids at 85 Forest Avenue, Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky. He indicates he works as a Printer. The 1940 Census shows Robert at age 44 living with his family at 85 Forest Avenue, Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky. He lists his work as an Embosser in the Printing Industry. Robert died at 6:00 p.m. 12 Sep 1980 of Congestive Heart Failure in Saint Elizabeth Hospital - South, Edgewood, Kenton County, Kentucky. He is buried in Saint Johns Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Kenton County, Kentucky. "Robert was born in Covington, Ky. on October 9, 1895 at 8:05 A.M. at 943 York Street He was Treasurer and founder of the Artistic Die Mfg. Company, Cincinnati, Ohio. He resided at 270 Forest Ave, Erlanger, Ky. He married Josephine Luttman on June 4, 1919. He died at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Ft. Mitchell, Ky. on September 12, 1980. Burial mass was at St. Henry Church, Erlanger, Ky. and buried in St. John's Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, Ky. Of this union, eight (8) children were born." |
