William Henry Chapple was born 8 Nov 1861 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. He was the son of John Martin Chapple and Isabella Dillnutt.
On 8 Nov 1882, William Henry and Clara were married at the Church of the Advent on Kemper Lane in Walnut Hills, Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.
William Henry and Clara were parents to only one child, Willie Grace Chapple.
Tragically, William Henry died of Consumption 24 Feb 1884, two months before the birth of his only daughter, Willie Grace. He is buried in the Bowman / Tompkins Lot (Sec. 101, Lot 99) in Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati. His is the only grave marker of the ten family members buried on that Lot. At the time of this writing, that Lot is also home to the largest tree in Ohio.

DEATHS CHAPPLE - Wm. H. Chapple, of consumption, Sunday, February 24th, at 11:30 P.M., at the residence of his brother-in-law, J.S. Tompkins, Avondale, aged 22 years and 3 months.
Funeral will take place from the Church of the Advent, Walnut Hills, on Wednesday, February 27th, at 1:30 P.M.
