Chapple was born about 1852 in New York. Alfred James Chapple was born 15 Nov 1853 in New York. The 1880 Census shows him employed as a Shoe Maker. Alfred married Amy H. Beaumont 5 Feb 1882 at the Church of the Advent in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. She was born 20 Oct 1856 in England. They had three children, all born in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio: Edith Isabel Chapple, born 17 Feb 1884 Gertrude E. Chapple born 11 Jun 1885 Spencer B. Chapple born 6 Nov 1890 In 1896, Alfred, Amy, and their children immigrated to Canada. In 1901, they are shown in the Census as living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Robert H. Chapple was born 24 Apr 1855 in New York. He married Charlotte A. Bayer 28 Nov 1881 in Saint Paul German Evangelical Church in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. She was born in Mar 1862, the daughter of Charles A. Bayer, Sr., and Sophia Charlotte Poehner. They had one daughter, Gladys F. Chapple, born 31 Mar 1890 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Robert died 6 Jun 1901 in Cincinnati and is buried in the Bayer / Chapple Lot (Sec. 22, Lot 104) of Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati along with several other family members, including Gladys, who died 15 Apr 1863. There was another child born who was baptised 8 Apr 1860, but it is suspected they died in infancy. Francis Chapple was also baptised 8 Apr 1860, but may have also died in infancy. John Martin died 12 Feb 1904 in the Home of the Aged on Florence Avenue in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, of Arterio Sclerosis. He is buried in the Woodward Lodge I.O.O.F. Lot (Sec. 15, Lot 43, Space 18) of Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati. There is no grave marker, but the statue in the center of Section 15 is pictured at left. <ADD MORE INFO>

Isabella died 20 Jul 1905 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, of Gastro Enteritis and Arterio Sclerosis. She is buried in Sec. 60, Lot 48E, Space 1, Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, but there is no marker.
