ancestry.com
Paid site with billions of all types of records. I use this site almost daily. Keep in mind they have many records that are NOT indexed.
findagrave.com
Free site that can be used to find burial location. ALL information from this site needs to be verified by independent research as much of it is incorrect. But it can provide great clues and wonderful photos.
familysearch.org
Free site with millions of all types of records. I typically start my search on someone here and have the most luck entering their first name, last name, a 10-year range on their birth (but not the location), and the county and state in which they resided. From there, I will add, subtract, or change data to adjust the results, eventually removing the residence information so it will not limit the results because of that.
One of the databases I use often at FamilySearch is the Ohio Deaths, 1908-1953. By signing up for a free account, you can access images of Death Certificates.
newspapers.com
Paid site with access to newspapers from the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia.
cincinnati.newspapers.com
Paid add-on site to newspapers.com for newspapers in Cincinnati and surrounding areas.
feedly.com
Free blog-reader that I love. Also available as a paid subscription that gives you many additional features.
Age Calculator
While there is an age calculator in Family Tree Maker, this one is handy to access quickly and from anywhere.
weebly.com
Makes putting together a website fun!
